General Description:
Dispatching is the heart of our organization. The key link between our
customers and our employees. You must greet each customer with a smile even if its
over the phone. Youre our first impression to that customer. You must see that the
day to day office work is performed efficiently and professionally. Coordinate and work
with the installation supervisor, sales engineers, bookkeeping, customer service, and
service techs. Do everything in your power to ensure a profit for the company while giving
exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Provide the Chief Steward with reports as needed.
Open up the store no later than 7:30 am and close the store at
4:30 PM.
Wait on customers. In charge of over the counter sales.
Be sure there is someone in the office at all times.
Be sure that the phones are answered by the 3rd ring.
Dispatch the most urgent calls first thing in the morning.
Schedule the work load for the day and change the schedule as needed. Dispatch and route
service men for best efficiency.
Approve all service tickets priced out to be billed. On call
backs, determine if the customer should be billed and how much. Be fair.
