Field Installation Supervisor
General Description:
The installation of heating & air conditioning equipment and related distribution
systems. You must be polite, professional, and well groomed. You must be willing to
develop your abilities to their maximum potential, and to stay abreast of the latest
technological advancements in our industry.
Specific Responsibilities:
Perform job assignments that the Field Installation Supervisor
may direct you to do. Always install duct work and equipment in accordance with the
manufactures specifications, ACCA & SMACNA guidelines, and all applicable codes.
Provide your own hand tools. You are responsible for your
vehicles appearance. Keep your vehicle clean & neat, inside and out. Wash truck at
least once a month. Maintain a mileage and expense log and notify the Supervisor when
repairs or preventive maintenance on your vehicle is required. Be sure your truck is
locked when unattended. You are responsible for it and its contents.
Always be polite to the customer. That customer is our
companys life blood. Without customers we dont need you.
Be sure when you leave a customers home that the heating
and air conditioning equipment are in a safe operating condition. If the equipment is
unsafe to operate then turn the power to the unit off and advise the customer the unit is
unsafe to operate.
You are responsible for improving yourself. You will be expected
to advance and grow till your abilities reach their full potential as a professional
heating and air conditioning installer. You will then be expected to keep abreast of
changing technology.
Take advantage of any training opportunities that come along
which further your knowledge of installing heating and air conditioning equipment.
